My name is Yulia Musurina, originally from Siberia and have been living in St. Petersburg for many years. My first degree is in Journalism (St.Petersburg State University) In 2017 I graduated from the Repin Academy of Arts. And since about that time I’ve been shooting on film. So I decided to synthesize my passion for painting, which has been an integral part of my life for many years. For me photography is first of all about addressing a person. Exploring and capturing. States in different periods of time. The fragility of life. Desires — explicit and hidden. And, of course, memories that I want to take with me. I am interested in people in all their diversity. I believe that every photograph has its own story, its own energy and its own power. I shoot portraits, make long-term photo projects. I am passionate about traveling to and exploring the most remote corners of the Earth and insular communities.
